As Women’s Health Week (2-6 September) draws to a close, we are releasing a second policy brief to ensure women’s health issues continue to receive the attention they require.

Our Policy Brief Menopause and Perimenopause applies a gendered lens to expand understanding of menopause and perimenopause to inform policy, strategy and practice.

Lack of recognition about the impacts of perimenopause and menopause, and a consequential lack of support, reduce health equity for people who experience this significant life transition.

This brief considers a range of domains where improvements in understanding, practice and service delivery could enhance outcomes.
