We are pleased to announce the Australian Women’s Health Alliance has appointed Sandra Creamer AM as Chief Executive Officer, following a merit interview. 

Sandra commenced work on 24 February 2025.  

Sandra is a recipient of the Member of the Order of Australia and brings with her extensive experience in the women’s health and domestic violence sectors. Sandra is an Adjunct Professor in Public Health at the University of Queensland, a member of the National Plan Advisory Group informing the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032 and Chair of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Advisory Council to the Action Plan 2023 to 2025 under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032.

Sandra is a leader nationally and internationally across several areas of women’s issues.

We are excited to step into the next stage of possibility and looking forward to moving alongside you all to strengthen our national voice for women’s health!
