This national summary report presents key findings from the Australian Burden of Disease Study: impact and causes of illness and death in Australia 2018. It provides estimates of the burden due to 219 diseases and injuries and the contribution of various modifiable risk factors to this burden. An analysis of the change in burden of disease between 2003 and 2018 is also presented.
