Equal means Equal: Tasmanian Women’s Strategy 2022-2027

This state-based strategy sets out a framework for government so it can progress gender equality in Tasmania. The strategy reflects the voices of Tasmanian women from all walks of life and outlines a vision for a Tasmania where women and girls have access to equal choice, opportunity, and resources to participate in economic, social, political and community life. By adopting a gender responsive approach to how systems are organised and structured, Equal means Equal gives decision-makers the tools to start consciously exploring the cultural norms that create and sustain gender inequality.
