Young Carer Research Project: Summary of Findings July 2020

This NSW report offers findings from a qualitative study that aimed to gather new evidence on the support needs and experiences of young carers aged 16 to 25 (82% of participants were young women).

It also aimed to explore different methods for engaging young carers in research and consultation opportunities. This report shares insights from young carers across a range of themes, including education, employment, service provision and relationships. The additional resources listed below were created after the study.
