Sandra is a recipient of the Member of the Order of Australia and brings with her extensive experience in the women’s health and domestic violence sectors. She is an Adjunct Professor in Public Health at the University of Queensland, member of the National Plan Advisory Group informing the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032 and Chair of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Advisory Council to the Action Plan 2023 to 2025 under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032. Sandra has been a leader nationally and internationally across several areas of women’s issues.
